What’s the big idea here?
Texts From Dad was an idea that arose during the pandemic, when silly texts from our dads made us feel happier and more connected. We wanted to be able to create a platform to share dad humor with everyone, no matter the role their own dad plays, played, or doesn’t play in their life. We also wanted to use this opportunity to raise money for low-income families that are struggling right now.
Who are the jokers behind this?
Texts From Dad is a quarantine project created by Yael Hendel, designer/cartoonist and Wiz, entrepreneur/tomfoolery expert. They are typically New York based but are currently living as drifters.
Tell me more about the donations?
We are asking for donations to cover our operating costs and donating the rest to the Good+Foundation. In their words, The Good+Foundation is a leading non-profit that seeks to dismantle multi-generational poverty by pairing tangible goods with innovative services for low-income fathers, mothers and caregivers, creating an upward trajectory for the whole family.
Are you going to spam me with texts or give my number out?
No way Jose. You’re not a sneaky teenager anymore and we honor your privacy completely. To unsubscribe from Texts from Dad respond with STOP at anytime.
